This Privacy Policy applies to information associated with your use of the CREM website. At present, the website does not provide user accounts, online checkout, payment or donation processing, or online form submission. Training and trainer applications may be completed and saved as browser-only drafts or printed, but they are not transmitted to CREM by the website.

3. Information you choose to provide

If you voluntarily contact CREM by email, telephone, mail, or another communication method, we may receive the information you provide. Depending on your inquiry, this may include:

  • Your name and contact information;
  • The content of your message and any attachments;
  • Information about a ministry, church, organization, training request, volunteer interest, partnership, resource request, or outreach need; and
  • Other information you choose to share with us.

Please do not send sensitive information through ordinary email. This includes Social Security numbers, payment-card or financial-account information, medical records, passwords, or similar confidential information.

4. Information stored only in your browser

The website uses browser storage to support certain convenience features. These may include SET application drafts, saved-resource selections, and CREM Store cart selections. This information remains on the device and browser you use; the website does not transmit it to CREM.

You can remove this information by using the relevant clear or remove controls on the website, clearing your browser’s site data, or adjusting your browser settings. Browser-only information may remain until you remove it or your browser clears it.

5. Technical information

Like most websites, CREM’s hosting, content-delivery, security, and related technical service providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include an Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, requested page or file, date and time of a request, referring page, general network information, and security diagnostics.

CREM does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral advertising on this website.

6. How we may use information

We may use information we receive to:

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website; and
  • Meet legal, safety, or regulatory obligations.

7. When information may be shared

CREM does not sell or rent personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Service providers that support website hosting, security, email, communications, or other operations, subject to their applicable responsibilities;
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of CREM’s services; and
  • A successor organization in connection with a lawful merger, reorganization, or transfer of CREM operations.

8. Retention and security

CREM seeks to keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, for ministry and administrative records, or as required by law. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information that CREM holds about you. We will consider a request in light of applicable law and any legitimate recordkeeping, safety, or legal obligations. To remove browser-only drafts, saved resources, or cart selections, use the website controls or clear this site’s data in your browser.

A parent or legal guardian should make any website-based inquiry on behalf of a minor. If you believe a child has provided personal information to CREM, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

11. External links and embedded content

The website may link to third-party websites, social platforms, email or telephone applications, and other external services. Video pages may use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed service. Those services operate under their own privacy practices, and CREM does not control their collection or use of information. Review their policies before providing information or using their services.
